1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
As a consumer purchasing online from EcoOrganic Limited, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of the date on which you receive your goods, without giving any reason. This right is provided under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision before the 14-day period has expired. Please contact us via our Contact page with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
2. Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, items must:
- Be returned in their original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact.
- Not have been washed, worn, or otherwise used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods (as you would in a shop).
- Be free from damage, odours, or staining that were not present upon delivery.
We reserve the right to reduce your refund (or refuse a return) if the goods have been handled in a way that has diminished their value beyond reasonable inspection.
3. How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us via our Contact page with the following information:
- Your full name and order number.
- The item(s) you wish to return.
- The reason for the return (this helps us improve our service, though it is not required for a cancellation).
We will then provide you with return instructions. Please do not send goods back before contacting us, as we may be unable to process the return.
4. Refund Method and Timescale
Once we have received and inspected the returned items, we will process your refund to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds are typically processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
Please note that it may take a few additional business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Who Pays Return Postage?
If you are cancelling your order under the 14-day right to cancel, the cost of returning the goods is your responsibility, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
We recommend using a tracked postal service for returns, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. We are unable to refund postage costs unless the item was received in a faulty or incorrect condition.
6. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us via our Contact page as soon as possible after receipt. We will arrange for a full refund or replacement at no cost to you, including the cost of return postage where applicable. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
7. Exclusions
The following items are excluded from our returns policy:
- Items that have been used, washed, or are not in their original condition.
- Items returned without prior authorisation.
- Items returned after the 14-day cancellation window has expired (unless the goods are faulty).
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions about our returns process, please do not hesitate to contact us via our Contact page. We aim to resolve all queries promptly and fairly.
